Sacred Kingfisher Original Artwork
One of my favourite birds, I always get so excited when they arrive on our farm in the spring time!
I’ve been wanting to draw one for years but never found the right reference photo. Then, one day, I heard one calling closeby. I grabbed my camera and ran outside and their he was, sitting just out the front of our house. As soon as I started clicking away this was it!
Capturing all the shining blues in his wings was so special, it was wonderful to finally complete a drawing of one.
