Azure Kingfisher Original Artwork
For many years, all I saw was a brillant flash of blue dart past me, as I walked along the creek. This intrigued me and every summer I would look for this elusive little kingfisher. I really wanted to draw one, but they were hard enough to spot, let alone photograph!
Finally on Christmas day 2024, one decided to make itself visible to me, and we later spotted an adult feeding a juvenile!
They have continued to appear around our creek, so I am so happy to have finally gotten a photo, and draw one.
